I AM NOT GOOD AT KEEPING SECRETS, BUT I DID IT! Lauren's 30th birthday was right after the last blog post, and I so desperately wanted to say something about our surprise for her, but couldn't! The weekend of her birthday, Lauren and I went shooting and while we were there I told her I had been given tickets to a show if she wanted to go, and of course she said yes. So that night we got dolled up and all of her family and friends surprised her at a local country bar! We had so much fun with everyone, and even got to drink a little. We were kinda excited about this until the next morning...when we remembered why we didn't miss drinking that much. It's SUMMER YA'LL!! The time of year teachers rejoice and recharge! The time of year when it rains A LOT and it's filled with camp fires, beaches, pools, sunburns, friends, and family! Can you tell we're a little excited? This time of year also affords us the great opportunity to focus more on our workouts...it's hard once you're addicted and have whole days off not to go twice a day! So what we have been doing a lot of days is doing a quick cardio session in the morning and then we'll meet with Mark the Trainer in the afternoon. On days that we don't meet with him, we'll just do a longer cardio session 😁 Lauren enjoying her time in St. Pete Last week had it's challenges, but we also are ready with the highlights.
